Incoming First-Year Students & Transfers from other institutions
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Office of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for both first-year and transfer admissions.
A first-year student interested in pursuing a course of study in an education program must first be admitted to and enrolled in the General College through the sophomore year and then may apply to transfer into the School of Education for the junior and senior years.
Students may be admitted to the School of Education from other institutions. If transferring from another institution students should apply as transfer students through Undergraduate Admissions.
