School of Education hosting ‘EduConnections’ event this week

Undergraduate students from several historically black colleges and universities and other minority-serving institutions will visit UNC in a program hosted by the School of Education this week. The “EduConnections” event will bring 20 students with the aim of cultivating their interest in becoming educators. The visit is organized by SOE Recruitment Director Trish Harris. During the visit – on Thursday and Friday – the students will learn about SOE academic programs, meet faculty and students and attend professional development workshops. A welcome event will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in Peabody 02; a lunch at 12:30 p.m., also in Peabody 02
