Foundation Board meets, oversees funds

Michael Williams

Mike Williams (AB ’67, Ed.D. ’92) is executive director of the UNC Center for School Leadership Development. Formerly, he served as director of the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program, director of NC QUEST and coordinator for professional development; and special assistant to the UNC vice president for academic planning and University-school programs. 

Williams’ work also extends into public school administration in North Carolina.  He has served as superintendent for the Alamance-Burlington School System, Alamance County Schools, Roanoke Rapids Graded School District and Warren County Schools.  Williams also worked as a consultant with the College Foundation of North Carolina to provide information to local schools about student financial aid.

Williams currently serves as president of the Alumni Council of the School of Education.
