Oct. 2005
Beverly Wyrick, School of Education accounting manager, was elected as a delegate on the UNC-Chapel Hill Employee Forum. Established in 1992, the Forum meets monthly to provide a means for non-faculty personnel to discuss important issues and present these issues to the administration. It consists of 53 delegates representing all the employee classifications at UNC. Wyrick, who has worked at the School of Education since February 2004 and at UNC for 12 years, will serve a two-year term on the Forum, beginning November 2005. In June 2005, she won the School’s Star Heel Award for Skills Improvement in recognition of the increased level and scope of her professional responsibilities. Before joining the staff of the School of Education, Wyrick worked in the University’s Disbursement Services Office, Development Office, Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office and Office of Financial Planning and Budgets.
