School of Education’s Information Technology Team Best on UNC Campus

The School of Education’s Information Technology (IT) was recognized today as one of the most outstanding IT teams on the Carolina campus. The award was presented at the annual awards ceremony of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Information Technology Services.

Members of the School of Education’s IT team are Mike Bamford, Don de Leaumont, Doug Edmunds, Clint Kale and Jessica Lindsay.

Twenty-four teams were nominated; two team awards were given.

In recommending the School of Education team, their nominator wrote, “Without exception, this IT team is helpful, knowledgeable and professional in the manner in which they do their work. Each of them has a marvelous sense of humor, a modest and affable demeanor, and a kind and gracious spirit.

“Our IT team has maintained a high level of service, demonstrated technical competence and maintained smooth operations with the highest possible standard of excellence. Their strength lies in their ability to work together as an extraordinary team.”
