Greg Cizek presents at Brookings Institution

Greg Cizek, professor of Educational Measurement and Evaluation, was invited to be a featured speaker at a Brookings Institution presentation and discussion entitled “Race to the Top Assessments: Common Core Standards and Their Impact on Student Testing.” The event was held Oct. 26 in Washington, D.C., at the Brookings Institution.
At the event, a panel of education experts explored questions regarding the Race to the Top assessment program, focusing on implementation challenges and how common core standards, recently adopted by 38 states and the District of Columbia, will be incorporated into this latest generation of student testing. Short papers on the topic were also presented and discussed.
