Bettina Love grad student chat and lecture

Bettina Love, assistant professor at the University of Georgia and author of “Hip Hop's Li'l Sistas Speak,” will visit the School of Education on Wenesday. Her visit is sponsored by the Graduate Student Association. Love has published articles on the topics of hip hop in education, queer youth, race and equity in education, and issues of politics and race. ┬áLove is a former teacher whose research frequently takes her back into the classroom. Love will meet with graduate students at 1 p.m. in Room 10 and give a talk at 5:30 p.m. in Room 104.
