Bytes & Bagels: Use of Tech Tools

February 20, 2013

The SOE Technology Advisory Council will host its second “Bytes and Bagels” on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Peabody Room 02. “Bytes and Bagels” is your opportunity to gather with other members of the School of Education community to engage in informal conversation about using technology in teaching and research. Wednesday’s get-together will include a brief demonstration of “Nearpod,” a mobile learning platform designed to synchronize iPads, other mobile devices and computers. Attendees are invited to bring their iPad, iPhone, Android devices for the demonstration. The Dean’s office will provide bagels and coffee for faculty, staff, graduate students, and undergraduates to share and discuss the work we are all doing around technology. Come have some breakfast, and join the conversation! And, mark your calendars for upcoming “Bytes and Bagels” events on March 27 and April 24.
