Lecture and conversations with Anne Goddard and Anne Scott of ChildFund

Anne Goddard, president and CEO, and Anne Scott, vice president for global programs, of ChildFund International will participate in several events during a day-long visit to UNC-Chapel Hill on Jan. 12, 2010.

Anne Goddard will present an address, open to all interested persons, titled “New brand, new name, new strategy — Forging a new identity as an international NGO” at 3:30 p.m. in the BCBS Auditorium, 0001 Michael Hooker Research Center. The lecture will be followed by informal discussions with public health and education students interested in a career in global development.

The day also includes seminars and discussions with selected faculty, staff and students in public health and education. These sessions will focus on early childhood development, late childhood and adolescence, and program quality and uniform standards. For more information, see the agenda (PDF)
