Supporting Rural Schools and Communities Research Conference

The National Research Center on Rural Education Support is hosting a research conference. Keynote speakers are: Dr. Lynn Okagaki, Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education; Dr. Mark Greenberg, Department of Human Development & Family Studies, The Pennsylvania State University; and Dr. Rachel Tompkins, The Rural School and Community Trust.
Conference topics include: Early childhood and elementary education; adolescent intervention programs; supporting rural schools and communities during changing times; transition to adulthood issues; teacher preparation and education leadership; distance education and technology; writing and literacy.
Pre-registration is required by Oct. 23, 2009. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
