Edward Hanes Jr. wins School of Law alumni award

Edward Hanes Jr. (A.B.Ed. ’95, J.D. ’00) has won the 2010 Outstanding Recent Graduate Award from the UNC Law Alumni Association.
Hanes is the assistant to the chancellor for equal employment opportunity and Americans with Disabilities Act compliance at Winston-Salem State University and serves on UNC’s Board of Visitors. He was named by the Triad Business Journal as one of its “40 Leaders Under 40” in 2006.
The UNC Law Alumni Association presented the award on Oct. 8.
