In this article, the author reflects on the article "Rethinking the Market Metaphor: School Choice, the Common Good, and the National Football League" by the philosophers Brent Beal and Heather Olson Beal. He discusses the National Football League (NFL) metaphor which helps in determining educational spending in the schooling systems of the U.S. He acknowledges cooperation of organizations in a highly competitive environment. He evaluates human resources in terms of NFL players.
