UNC Online Development

Summary

The University of North Carolina Online provides one place for prospective students to research the online offerings of all 16 campuses, compare similar degree programs, review online courses, and contact representatives of individual universities and programs. Individuals considering continuing their education may find courses for professional development and/or preview details of more than 170 degree programs — overviews, prerequisites, admission requirements, tuition and fee information, delivery methods, technical requirements, and more. The site integrates specialized modules to serve a range of visitors, including North Carolina's military and their dependents, current and prospective teachers, high school students, community college students, and lifelong learners. The site may be searched by program, course, institution, or specialty.

LEARN NC is responsible for University of North Carolina Online development, technical support and hosting. LEARN also manages the website content, provides support for campus-based distance education coordinators, monitors site usage, and maintains the UNC Coursebank.
