An educator first and a child psychologist second, Sam Song is committed to children’s success. He is especially intrigued by those children who succeed despite significant hardships ─ circumstances Song has experienced firsthand ─ and conversely, those who do not succeed. An assistant professor in the School Psychology Program, Song works toward the broad mission of promoting the healthy development and mental health of all children, especially those who are underserved. His teaching fosters a collaborative environment in which discussion and critical thinking are emphasized to achieve a meaningful learning experience. |
