John Denning, a 2008 graduate, is senior program officer for U.S. Programs, Policy and Advocacy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Melissa Rasberry, A.B.Ed. 1998, M.S.A. 2003, Ed.D. 2007, is senior education consultant at the American Institutes for Research.

Nakia Hardy, M.S.A. 2004, Ed.D. 2010, is the executive director of teaching and learning for Baltimore City Public Schools.

Dionne V. McLaughlin, Ed.D. 2011, is an assistant professor in educational leadership at North Carolina Central University.

Jerry Buckner, a 2013 graduate, is the Response to Intervention Coordinator of a high school in Pakistan.

Derrick Jordan, a 2013 graduate, is superintendent of schools in Chatham County.

Mia Murphy, a 2013 graduate, works in the office of Virtual Education in the N.C. Department of Public Instruction.

Larry Savage, a 2011 graduate, is an elementary principal in Chatham County.

Lara-Jeane C. Costa, a 2014 graduate, is a research specialist and project director of the Middle School Writing Project at the Department of Allied Health Sciences in the UNC-CH School of Medicine.
