Alumni & Friends
Our 19,000 alumni contribute to communities across North Carolina and the United States. They make an impact on education practice, policy and research. Many of them have received recognition at their schools as well as on the national, state and district levels as Teachers, Principals, Superintendents and School Counselors of the Year. Others serve in high-level policy positions in the U.S. Department of Education as well as the N.C. Department of Public Instruction, fill senior-level positions in foundation and research centers, serve as presidents of universities and colleges, and teach in higher education institutions across North Carolina and the nation.
We are proud of our graduates and their contributions to education and to society. We want to remain connected to our alumni and friends, who share our mission to help all students maximize their potentials. We hope you’ll explore our Web site to learn more about ways of remaining actively engaged with us.
