School Psychology, Ph.D.

Program of Studies

The doctoral program of studies is comprised of seven areas: Assessment, Intervention, Consultation, Research & Evaluation, Externship/Internship, Professional Development and Foundations. Students are required to take courses from each of the psychological foundations.

Prerequisite Courses

Doctoral students in School Psychology should enter the program with no fewer than three of the four prerequisite courses: personality theory, abnormal psychology, learning or cognition, and developmental psychology. Any missing prerequisite must be taken the first semester of enrollment.
