Program of Studies

The doctoral program of studies is comprised of eight areas: Prerequisite courses, Assessment, Intervention, Consultation, Research & Evaluation, Externship/Internship, Professional Development and Foundations. Students are required to take courses from each of the psychological foundations.

I. Prerequisite Courses

Doctoral students in School Psychology should enter the program with course work in personality theory, abnormal psychology, history and systems psychology, learning theories and developmental psychology. Missing prerequisites are added to the program of study.
