Education, Ph.D.
(Early Childhood, Intervention and Literacy)

Program of Studies

Students who are admitted to the Ph.D. program will take a set of core, school-wide courses. These courses are generally taken over the first two years in the doctoral program. A specialty seminar in the area of emphasis is required in the fall semester of the first year.

In addition to coursework, each student must form a program of studies committee composed of five members of the faculty to lay out the student's plan of courses and timeline to meet his or her professional goals. This program of studies must be approved and be filed with the head of the doctoral program.
