Online Courses

Overview

The School of Education offers interesting online courses. Some of these combine online work with face-to-face meetings, and some are fully online, requiring no face-to-face meetings. Some are open to all students. Some are open only to students in particular programs.

We are proud to be on a campus that affords us the opportunity to provide innovative and effective online delivery. Many of our online courses are offered using Sakai and Blackboard Collaborate; both are easy-to-use, web-based technologies that offer synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. Using Blackboard Collaborate allows students to meet online simultaneously, see and hear their instructor, view presentations and other shared content, engage in small group discussions via text and/or video chat, and even conduct videoconferences or mentoring sessions.
