For Students - Submitting Program Assessment Assignments

For Students

You will need to submit your course assignments, as specified by your instructors, following the steps below:

  1. ACCESS the printable versions of the assignment directions and rubrics via the "Program Assessment Assignments" link above.
  1. SAVE electronic versions of your work (i.e., Word documents, Excel files, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) as either Microsoft Office 97-2003 version documents or Rich Text Format (.rtf) files to a SAFE/SECURE location, so these files can be accessed for future needs (i.e., supporting artifacts for future Synthesis and Evaluation Statements). This is a requirement.

Saving to your campus AFS (H: Drive) server space is strongly recommended, as this is a secure location which is backed up nightly.
  1. SUBMIT your work to your instructor via the method he or she specifies.

Note: Since we are nearing the end of the semester, the following only applies to program assessment assignments that have not yet been submitted to your instructor.

You must also upload a second (exact) copy of your work for the Program Assessment Assignments to the School of Education (SOE) Upload Center.

Your work may be used as part of the School of Education’s assessment evidence for accreditation review by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the NC Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI).

If you are unsure whether or not you need to submit your work to the SOE Upload Center, contact support at soe_upload_support@unc.edu.
