Middle Grades Education; A.B.Ed., Licensure Only and Lateral Entry
Program of Studies
Undergraduate and non-degree, licensure-seeking candidates complete the following sequence of professional studies courses in fall and spring semesters of the first year and fall and spring of the second year.
In addition to the professional education sequence, candidates are also required to complete content area courses in their chosen licensure area(s).

| EDUC 565 | Teaching Science in the Middle Grades | 3 hrs |
| EDUC 566 | Teaching Mathematics in the Middle Grades | 3 hrs |
Second Year - Spring Semester |

*Applicants admitted as Lateral Entry or Licensure Only may opt to take EDUC 464 offered in the summer as a substitute for EDUC 465 .
