American School Counselor Association Foundation Scholarship

ASCA Foundation is designed to help school counselors fulfill their educational goals. One of the main objectives of the scholarship program is to encourage males and minority students to enter the school counseling profession.

North Carolina School Counselor Association Graduate Student Scholarship

Graduate students who are studying to become school counselors are eligible to apply for the scholarship. Applicants write an essay on a variety of topics identified by NCSCA that pertain to the qualities of a successful school counselor. In addition, applicants must submit a description of a possible thesis or master’s project, documentation of their leadership activities and internship experiences, and letters of recommendation.
