K-6, 6-9, 9-12, K-12 in Various Teaching Areas
Technology (K-12)
The focus for the specialty area is K-12 Computer Education. Teachers who successfully complete the program requirements earn both an M.Ed. and advanced licensure in Instructional Technology Specialist: Computers.
Teachers must have a clear initial teaching license when they enter the program. The initial license may be in any K-12 area. Graduates may remain as classroom teachers or they may serve as computer resource teachers or full-time computer teaching specialists.
