| EDUC 647 (sect. 007) | Methods and Materials for Teaching Secondary (K-12) Subjects I: Second Languages (Prerequisite for EDUC 728) | 3 hrs |
| EDUC 726 | Practica in Second Languages (Class observations: Taken concurrently with EDUC 647) |

NOTE: All individuals seeking ESL licensure will be required to take the PRAXIS II ESL exam in order to be licensed in ESL.
Other Requirements:
To gain insight into the processes and complexities of second language learning, all students who obtain an ESL license must engage in a foreign language learning experience such as:
- Participate in formal classroom learning of a foreign language
- Paricipate in intensive language instruction
- Participate in an immersion experience in a second language environment
