School of Social Work Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program

Some School of Education graduate students may be interested in the Nonprofit Leadership Certificate Program in the UNC School of Social Work. Graduate students in the certificate program prepare for leadership roles in North Carolina's rapidly growing nonprofit sector with an in-depth examination of leadership issues within human services, education, the arts and other nonprofit organizations. The program consists of fifteen (15) hours of graduate credits from a range of identified courses. Current UNC School of Education graduate students in good academic standing as well as experienced professional and volunteer nonprofit leaders and managers with baccalaureate degrees and evidence of ability to complete graduate-level course work are eligible for admission.
