SOE Student Organizations
The School of Education has three active student organizations that promote both academics and student life. All four student organizations promote interaction among their student members, provide community service and host enrichment events.
- Teaching Fellows
Composed of undergraduates who intend to become teachers and have received four-year, full-tuition scholarships for their undergraduate study. - Collegiate Middle Level Association
For students studying middle grades education. - Student North Carolina Association of Educators
Student run group with a focus on teaching careers for both undergraduate and graduate students. - Graduate Student Association
Open to students from all graduate programs in the School.
The Collegiate Middle Level Association collected money and school supplies in the fall of 2005 for the East Baton Rouge Parish public school system, which opened its doors to more than 7,800 new students displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
