Seven honored by School of Education at 125th Anniversary celebration

Seven alumni were honored with awards during the School of Education’s 125th Anniversary celebrations on Sept. 25. Wake County Superior Court Judge Howard Manning Jr., shown in the center, was recognized with the Peabody Award, given to honor his work to promote equality in education for all of North Carolina’s public school students. Six Alumni Achievement Awards were given.
